In our state, a rear facing car seat is mandatory until the child is one year old and over 20 pounds. Well, Missy here more than meets the second criteria while her first birthday is a week away. She has a new car seat; one that faces front and is pink and grey in color. Papa says it reminds him of Dumbo the elephant. Olivia finds it very, very comfy.
And it's so funny when they get to finally face forward...it's as if they're saying, "Oh, so THIS is what you guys have been doing up there in the front seat for the past year...pass me some snacks, please."
