Contagion

Poor little Sammy has another cold.  It just seems that it has been one long cold this winter!!  She feels much better recuperating in Nana's room, along with her stuffed animals and special blanket.

You were young?

I sent over some very old, very very old hunting pictures of Daddy when he was little.  Here he is showing his daughters that yes, indeed, he was once not quite so tall and not quite so old.  And they sit there in disbelief.  I feel your pain, Daddy.  You look at my photos the same way!!  (of course mine were chiseled on stone tablets.)

Olivia needed to watch and contemplate the ocean from the beach.  So she sat on Mommy's lap for an hour and then decided she wasn't an ocean person.  No way, no how.

She's turning heads on the beach NOW at age 3 and a half!

She spent the evening partying it up...dancing with everyone.  And by the looks of this photo, it's close to beddy-bye time.

Baking cookies for Santa

 Mommy has the little ones bake cookies on Christmas Eve for Santa.

 Sometimes, flour or cookie dough wind up in funny places.

 And while Olivia's manual dexterity isn't quite up to intricate detail yet, she enjoys squeezing the bottle.

All three cousins got in the act with Lillian joining the group.  I wonder how Santa liked all the cookies?

because who doesn't want a one and half year old in the kitchen with sharp knives and hot pans???  When I saw this photo, it just made me smile so much.  This little one is such an imp and you can see it in her smile.  These aprons for the girls is such a great idea!
