Standing Tall

When Mommy put Olivia down on the floor, Olivia kept her lets straight and ended up standing by herself for oh, about 3.5 seconds.  Long enough to capture it on film.  Ok, not so much film, but in glorious digital.

Red letter day

Without saying anything, I asked Sammy to pose for me in a couple of pictures.  Why?  Because she didn't immediately strip down to her panties as soon as she got here.  Here she is in her CLOTHES!!

Sammy's ballerina outfit is too big for Olivia...right now.  But I'm sure that she'll get plenty of use out of it in the future...

I caught Sammy sitting in my chair in front of the computer talking to herself.  She was having a grand ol'time.  And she looked very comfortable!

Papa comes home at lunch and does his P90X workout.  When he's done, he then does his stretches.  He had a little Princess come in and show him how it goes...

This will be the next thing she'll need to learn here:  go up the steps.  And then down the steps.  And then up and then...well, you get the picture.  When the babies finally get it in their heads how to do it, Mimi gets her cardio work out done chasing after them.

What a face

See this expression?  This is what little Olivia looked like pretty much all the time last week.  She just was out of sorts and we thought that maybe she was beginning to teeth.  No such luck yet.  She's feeling better now with lots of smiles for everyone again.

Why?

What is it about chocolate pudding that no matter how hard you  try, it ends up all over the face?

These two are birds of a feather.  Both have impish personalities and I can see Olivia keeping her parents running much like Auntie did to her parents.

When Mommy sent me this photo of Olivia, she entitled it hair accessory.  When I opened it up and saw it, I started laughing!!  Is the hair accessory the little pink bow-ish thing on her head or is it Daddy's stinky monkey toes?

Costco Run

This looks like it's been taken at Costco and I don't blame you one tiny bit, Sammy.  I hate Costco too.

Patience, Grasshopper

Mommy and Sammy love to wrestle around and Sammy gets tickled.  Olivia can't wrestle like they do, yet,  but she does love watching them.

My new favorite photo

Mommy took this photo a few days ago.  It is now my new favorite of Sammy.  I can see her as a young teenager here.  Look out, Daddy, she's gonna be a knockout!

Her expressions

You never know how Olivia is going to express herself when she smiles.  She has a different smile for each day of the week.  This is the first time I've captured this one, enjoying breakfast with her Sissy and Cousin....

Toofus

Mommy wanted a photo of Olivia's two teeth but it's been hard to get her to smile AND show her teeth at the same time.  I'll keep trying but for now...here are her teeth!

I need a faster lens. Or my reaction time needs to be faster....

Attempting to get a good photo of the two of them without them moving, looking at me, and smiling is getting to be impossible!  Maybe when they're 12?

Bowl Nake

Sammy's pronunciation of "Bull Snake"  or "Rattle Snake" is so funny!  But it wasn't funny a short time ago when Mommy walked into her kitchen to find a bull snake in it.  The door from the garage into the house had been left open and a snake got curious.  Mommy found it, starting yelling for Daddy.  Daddy tried to sweep the snake outside once again but the hissy snake got pissy.  Daddy told Mommy and the girls not to watch, to go into a different room and that snake crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.  This latest find that Sammy is discussing here is about a snake that Mommy saw sunning itself on the back patio!  And despite her absolute freak-out fear of snakes she took a photo of it!  It is a bit hard to see as it was taken with her camera phone through the screen door but here it is:

Looks kind of puny here, doesn't it?  Mommy sent the photo to Daddy at work and he thought it looked like a rattler.  He came home to kill but by then it was gone.  Yikes.
