In trying to explain to Sammy that this was a buffalo, she looked at me and I could tell that she was recalling the buffalo she'd seen in Yellowstone.  Yeah, you won't see one of these in Wyoming, Sammy.

If it's January

then you know it's time for Safari Club International.  Daddy likes to bring Sammy down to see all the animals.  He told her that she had to be quiet here because the little bear was sleeping....with a butterfly on his ear.

Just say YES

Sammy gets a new treat for using the potty chair successfully.  Remember those little heart candies with phrases on them?  And they're really popular for Valentine's Day?  And they taste like chalk?  Yep, those.

Moomie

When Auntie was over the other day, she asked Sammy if she would like a special smoothie.  Sammy loves smoothies but she does call them Moomies.  Auntie cobbled together a banana, avocado, peanut butter and apple juice moomie.  And it actually didn't taste bad.  Sammy drank it and it's a good way to get a great combo of fruits and veggies together.  I'll have my coffee, though, thanks.
