Whenever Sammy wears this outfit, Daddy smiles.  It's his absolute favorite on Sammy.  I have to agree, she's pretty cute in it!

Olivia has discovered one of the secrets to womanhood:  shoes.  Since she paid attention to her big sister putting on shoes, she has become one with the shoes.  She must have them on.  Or off.  Just depends on her mood.

Mommy may think that she's taught Olivia the sign language for 'Eat', but Olivia's been doing that since the minute she was born....she was signing, "Eat! Feed me, dammit!"

Look alikes

In reviewing photos of Olivia's older sister when she was at this age....they really do look alike.  Particularly around the eyes although Olivia's are a darker blue.  Some of her expressions are exactly how Sammy looked at this age.

Sammy is teaching her cousin the finer steps of DANCE.  You know, because she's been doing it for so long and all... And then DANCE turns into CRACK THE WHIP.

A little nippy

We can feel autumn slowly creeping up on us here in the high desert.  In the morning, the air isn't quite as warm as it a few weeks ago.  Sammy needs to start wearing sweaters in the morning but by the afternoon it is in the high 80's.  Go figure.

Now we play with cars

I can't help but feel sorry for Olivia now.  With her older (but not by much) cousin around who seeks out cars to play with, she is forced to play ram the car, throw the car.....

Hold still

Daddy and I were talking on the phone last night and I told him to snap a photo of Sammy for this blog.  He asks, 'You mean like now? She's wearing a tutu around her neck."  I said, "Yes!  Perfect!"  Now you can see that she does have the tutu as a type of necklace and you can see her nose is running from her very first pre-school cold...that she has managed to share with her entire family.  She's a giver.

The first hint of some naturally curly hair on little Olivia!  I absolutely love it!!

Oh jeez....

Mommy sent this photo to me about Olivia's very first boo-boo but didn't explain how she got it.  When I finally opened the photo and saw this, I couldn't stop laughing.  Not because of the owie itself, but just look at that expression!!

PS ....here is Mommy's story:

"well wiggle worm here, decided she didn't want to be in the little umbrellas stroller (big stroller had a broken tube in the tire) and Mommy was talking to her neighbor so Olivia decided to try and get out of the stroller and almost got out but one strap was still on her leg so she went forward but her leg stayed stuck in the strap and scraped her head on the concrete...luckily she didn't hit the concrete I caught her in time but it scared the poop out of her!  Poor little girl how she gets out I don't know, I have to have the car seat straps down so tight because she trys and gets out and most of the time she does!!"

Mommy sent this photo to us and I'm thinking that this is the Fashion show child.  She's learned this in pre-school in her 'Advanced Design and Accessory' class.

As she tried to zoom by, Daddy got a hold of her to take this fast photo of her 'ensemble'.  Swim goggles, necklace and panties.  Of course she doesn't have anything else on....

Snuggles for Auntie

With an exclamation of, "My Tub!"  Auntie grabbed her youngest niece and got a great big snuggle wuggle.

Scrapbook Material

This will go into Sammy's scrapbook that I do and the layout will be entitled, "Smile now because in after 16 more years of this, you'll be screaming."  No, not really.  It will be entitled "First day of Pre-school"  and the excitement and smiles it will bring to all of us when we look at it in a few more years will be the same as it is today.
